Comprenew Environmental hosts successful event!

Comprenew Environmental along with friends from Rapid Shred and TMH Corporation hosted a successful recycling event on Saturday, October 24th. Turnout exceeded expectations and drove home the concern this community has for responsible recycling.
Comprenew recorded over 20,000 pounds of e-Waste collected during the event and held a drawing for all participants. Three prizes were awarded from the Comprenew eThrift store - 1st prize - laptop, 2nd - Compac desktop, and 3rd - flash drive. Rapid Shred, Western Michigan’s premier document destruction company, accepted quite a few car loads of documents to be securely shredded in their on-site vehicle. TMH Corporation, West Michigan's Most Competitive Source for Toner & Ink Supply Needs, accepted ink and toner cartridges and gave away a printer. Even with the rainy weather, traffic was steady and our West Michigan community truly supported the cause.
E-Waste is a major environmental concern, and Comprenew's zero-landfill policy addresses the problem head-on in West Michigan. Unwanted electronics can either become toxic refuse or recycled goods.
